Well, not much i can tell you except what you see is what we have. The van was recently painted by the owner, supposed a Jeep colour. BUT, you will all notice how I like that word BUT, it was painted just on the outside, all insides were left in that awesome ? brown ! It's an '80 or '81 Westy air-cooled that "someone" not me nor the current owner installed an 1.9 waterboxer ! I just got the job of rebuilding the crappy engine and cleaning up all the haphazard install of the waterboxer in an air cooled van.

Also forgot to mention that the throttle body, distributor and thermostat housing were COMPLETELY taken apart and rebuilt to better than new standards ! Engine carriers, both have been POR-15ed, the aluminium moustache bar is from a 2.1 to hold the 2.1 exhaust system. The main engine bar had to be replaced as the one from the van sort of disintegrated when it went up to the sandblasted for cleaning. Took a few weeks of searching around here to find a decent one. They are ALL rusting away our this way. Plus EVERY fastener used everywhere in this job is Stainless Steel !

So would anyone want to guess the total of the bill on this job ?

>>>>>>Tell us more about the paint scheme of the van that it went into? That green sure isn't a stock Vanagon color... One or the other might be OK but the two colors together must be quite "stunning";-)<<<<<<<<
