Having dropped the cash for the Continental Vanco 2's(D range 107 tires) in a 215/65/16, I will say that they are definitely a truck tire. They ride pretty hard even at 43/48 psi, but man does this 90 GL handle around the corners now. As previously mentioned, I would see these as 3 season tires and I haven't had a chance to drive them hard in heavy rain yet, although we've had plenty here in the last month. Paid $130 each for them via Tire Rack and waited like 4 months for them to show up. Maybe the less expensive Vanco tires would be an option, but not sure if they come in 16's and don't know the load rating.

YMMV
