My wife did the same thing as Richard. Heavy gray vinyl cover. We did find it slipped a little on the porta potty so we also glued some of that non skid rubber stuff on the underside of the top. It has held up for over 12 years and unless you know vanagons and the need for a porta potty you would not know what was under the cover.
