It's not an LED, it's a specially-shaped incandescent bulb with a blue cover on it -- blue LEDs didn't exist when these vans were built. You could replace it with a blue LED and the proper-value resistor, but it's enough trouble that simply buying a new bulb likely makes more sense. Then you'll be good for another 20-30 years.
