There are some other considerations. If you use the Yakima Wide Body
accessory to provide a 'rain gutter' to mount other things upon, it
very much matters what these other things are and what dimensions and
restrictions they provide.
If mounting a "rocket box" or similar container one should consider
the position desired and access to the box. There is a range of inter
bar distances that work with most bar mount devices. I have found that

If you look closely at the locations both horizontally and vertically
you will have a good idea of where to mount your bars so you can use
the rear tire as a step and the floor as a second access point to
manipulate locks and so on.
