I don't remember ever identifying the vehicle in question. Nor did I use
someone's name in vain. In fact, I don't even recall saying the vehicle was
even in this country! You are a sharp nugget. Was it that 33.067mm oil spot
on the southeast corner of the floor that caught your eye? Well, if the
brake shoes fit...
You may have served your/your friend's interest LESS by broadcasting to the
List instead of pmailing me. My posting was intended to educate. As often
happens, my comments are laced with occasionally amusing anecdotes. I ain't
lyin', baby. ;-)
By the way, in case you were not aware, VW Classic Parts is now marketing
16" arches. They might be expensive but no longer rare.
