I see you're already squared away on swaging tool -- but for accuracy the system I was talking about is Nicopress, not Nicropress. Silly me.

Thinking about it, it occurs to me that you can get the appropriate Nicopress fitting at your local marine supplier, take it to your rigger and simply form a smallish loop in the end of the wire, no thimble. Put a short bushing on the bolt (with a washer atop for assembly convenience) so you'll have a smooth surface for it to bear on and Bob's your uncle. Make the loop as long as reasonable so the entry angle into the swage is small. Since you're bolting into a flat area you won't have to profile the underside of the bushing.
