Neil,

EKTA shows a vanagon pop top with only gas shocks, no lifting bar, from that I am assuming t has been done.

struts forward of jack bombay's set up, more like the early eurovan. Now of course, the T4 and T5 vans have a horizontal screw arrangement each side of van, and linkage to roof... power up and down...

nice idea eh?

Anyone "made do" with 2 non functioning spring assists?

Just planning ahead for future install of lift assist kit.

Neil.
