Between Roseville, CA and Auburn CA,  a very nice silver syncro
westfalia with a serious engine upgrade, GW bumpers, G.Lee rack,
firewood on the roof.  Driver and partner said going to Gold Lakes
area.

Between Sacramento and Roseville, on  a trailer a type 2 splitty
pickup shortend to the wheelbase of a beetle (trailering up to) Hot
August Nights in the Reno-Sparks area.

This time of year many beautiful resto's and hotrods can be seen
making the pilgrimage to the gathering of the shiny and old.
