Good thing they don't have onStar for Vanagons... "We've located you
and are ready to bring you a spare tire and install it for you. We
need to know if you are using 14, 15, or 16 inch wheels and which tire
size. What tire are you using? Were they over two years old? Do you
know where the date stamp is from where they tires were molded? Are
spacers involved? Did you install them on this car yourself? Do you
have a one/half or three/quarter inch bar? Do you use a cheater bar?
If so how long? In what country were your sockets made? The original
jack sucks, doesn't it? Do you carry an offroad jack? Where do you
store it? Did you customize the jack or the storage appliance? Do you
have plastic skirting or metal bumpers? Do you use anti-seize on your
wheel bolts or nuts? Do you use bolts or nuts or a combination? Did
you use Scott Daniel's el cheapo alignment method or did you have it
done professionally?"
