Pictures of the proper tool for removing wires from plastic connectors can

is available at the larger professional, not consumer, autoparts stores.
Work carefully as Zolly describes and it works great.

Once you have done it a few times, it's a piece of cake.  You can't pull on
the wire when you are trying to bend the tab, only after.  Sometimes it
