Hi Ed,

I have my tank on the bench right now, but uses a different sensing
system. I think  David Beierl will chime in on this one, he's the
expert.

But that being said, it looks like the system works via a ring type
float with magnet in it activating reed switches in rod... what do
you think about that theory?

As for the resistors in the mix, David will explain :)

Are you on the southern part of the island? If so have you tried
Malahat auto wreckers?
