However, one has to keep in mind that air pressure is what is being measured, and reported as altitude on the gauge dial. Consequently, one can sit in camp and view an alarming descent as a thunderstorm moves in. Modern folks might use a gps. There will be no error due to air pressure with that device. David McNeely |
