forgot to answer this part in your PM, I used high temp rtv and the gasket combined in combustion chamber. if using rtv alone, I'd try to apply a good layer, let sit a bit, then assemble but not tighten screws too much until RTV cures a bit more, then tighten down. kinda making your own gasket. alistair
