Rob, I did pretty well exactly same thing as you... cutting up westy floor into 3 strips and laying down tracks. I never did get a 2 person seat though :) I faced the strips with luan doorskin plywood, thinking someday I'd put cork on top of that. But as it turned out the luan was the floor for about 9 years and it held up ok. I only shellacked it and it was covered by foam pads most of the time, but still it held up better than I coudl have imagined. pics here on my old site http://www.members.shaw.ca/albell/mods5.html cheers alistair
