I'm having my '85 Vanagon Westfalia aligned early tomorrow morning. My concern is that the front tires are worn on the insides, and I'm wondering if this will effect the alignment. If I have it aligned like that, and later rotate or replace my front tires, won't that throw off the alignment? You're supposed to have the tire pressure just right and the load just right, so I would imagine that having the tires sit not quite right because of uneven wear would have an effect as well. If I had to I could put my snow tires on just for the alignment, or rotate them front to back, though I would think I'd be faced with the same issue on the back, then. I'm going to cross post to the Samba as well in hopes of getting some advice before 6 a.m. EDT. Thanks, Ed in CT |
