Mine stays lit and keeps things wonderfully cold while driving and camped although every now and then it goes out early in a trip (easy to check and re-light)... I trust it on propane more than on 12v or 120v (and i do have a solar panel to help keep the aux. battery charged!).
I am getting a rust bubble which i expect is from either a leak in the exhaust or condensation at the back of the fridge... that will be be one of this winter's explorations.
