picky picky picky !
ok, I measured a brand new one.
it's 2.0 mm.
sounds like a perfect case for installing a good used 'take off' clutch
disc.
I end up with a lot of very good used serviceable parts left over from doing
engine conversions.
which inline four ?
I'm starting on an 87 jetta 16 valve 1.8 pretty soon myself.
I just impact my crank pulleys off.
hard to hold the engine down solidly enough to do with a long breaker bar. .
if I know i'm going to have to undo that nut by hand, I do it with the
engine as complete as possible, so it tends to flop around less, though a
waterboxer is a bit floppy anyway in that regard.
