Well, I have no cool air (and no compressor action that I can tell)with the new switch(but the front fan stays on until the switch is disconnected) and I DO have cool air(within 30 secs) and compressor action with the OLD switch(fan acts normally). Just not very cool, but still noticeably cooler. The A/C guy was the one who said the old switch was bad. I am taking it to him tomorrow with both switches and see what happens. Not looking good, though. Maybe the old switch was good and this is the coolest I can expect. I do have a sag in the a/c tunnel in the rear causing a loss of volume from the front vents, but thought I could get it cooler. Michael in San Antonio 91GL Weekender AT 2.1L 'Gringo' |
