Clearly people will do what they want regarding matters that most consider safety issues. I wonder why VW chose to ADD the safety warnings regarding driving with the propane valve open sometime between the early to mid 80s and 1991? Could it be that there were "accidents" that needn't have happened or were worse because some folks chose to keep the valve open while driving, and VW elected to add warnings to reduce the company's liability exposure?
