I have a terrible noise coming from the OSX gear box on my '87 van. I wondering if their is anyway to put grease in it. I am sure after these many years what grease is in it is all dried up. after I drive it for a while the noise stops until the next day when it starts all over again. It's is not wheel bearing, they were were replaced a year ago and the noise was their before. No change after replacing the wheel bearings. I will by-pass that little box when the speedometer cable breaks by using the longer cable of a '88 or later van. Just don't want to do that until I have to. so, is their like a grease plug that I can remove and shoot grease in their?? thanks, Chris S. |
