Subject: FS: '85 Vanagon Westfalia whole or parting out in CT
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

I have just started to part out my brown '85 Vanagon Westfalia. It was sideswiped on the driver's side, and has damage down the side from the outside of the headlight to the rear wheel, but mostly down low. Driver's side suspension is shot, and the rear wheel is slightly bent. The rest of the van is fine. Interior is fine- front seats a bit worn. I have removed the engine and trans and separated them, but still have them. The only thing I've sold so far are the rear mattress cover and the outermost middle seat track covers. The engine had around 180,000 miles and the transmission was replaced with a used rebuilt one (but makes a slight grinding going into 2nd gear.

I'm asking $1,200 for the whole thing, engine and trans included but not installed, or will continue to part it out if I don't have any offers for the whole thing.

I'm in the northwest corner of CT. I'll be going to Buses of the Corn in Brooklin, Ontario on Thursday if anyone wanted any parts there or on the way through New York. I'll also be going to some VW camping events in eastern PA in September and October for possible delivery.

Ed
