Subject: Wheel beareing housing!
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

OK gang so I'm looking for a Wheel bearing housing that unlike mine actually needs the bearings pressed in not just dropped in! The housing on the driver side is in such bad shape that the inner wheel bearings can just be dropped in and pulled out by hand! Every single rear wheel I've ever checked on a vanagon 2wd or 4wd has play in the wheel if you push in at the top. Mine is so bad that the drum wore a hole through the backing plate on the bottom from being so out of line.

So does anyone have any leads on a good used or hell for that matter a new housing?

I'm running CV900 wheels with general grabber AT' 245/75/16 which are a little larger than stock wheels and do tax everything like the housing a bit more so I understand why they are as tired as they are. If no one out there has a good lead on a housing I may just have material added to it then machined down to repair what I've got. Hope to receive a flood of E-mails with good leads LOL!
