My westy is parked such that i can't really get a good view of reg. I do recall when i replaced my original reg more than 10 years ago that I could not orient it the same way as stock, to have vent down. I may have installed with vent up, bad boy.

I'll be pulling all that from old westy in the next day or so, to go onto the syncro. BTW propane filling stations around here becoming more fussy about having a proper Canadian motorhome or some such sticker on van. I had problems with the westy which had been repainted and stickers gone, mind you they were Californian stickers...

I think I can get install inspected and a sticker issued.

Thanks much Alistair. Pics helped a lot. I'm certain there will be others who would find it useful.

Just dealing with trying to access the regulator adjustment. My Marshall 290 regulator is installed with adjustment facing tank. (allows vent to be pointed down) There is a plastic cover I can't remove w/o damaging. For love of..... ;)

We'll see. I may just cut that cover then epoxy back on. Checking pressure at reg outlet with manometer should be the first choice though.

Re: vent at side. Yes. Considered leaving that in if I go electric.

Neil.
