I kinda assumed that it's already been inspected and the front end is alignment-worthy .. and of course, if there are badly worn parts .. they have to be done first.

and then I was thinking ..well, they go off the wheel rim actually, not the tires. but .. if the insides of the treat are badly worn .. the tire will make the wheel sit more tilted than normal.. and then .......................they align it so it's in spec with tires worn badly on the inside ?

that won't work of course . it needs reasonably decent matching tires on it to align the front end.
