Neil, correct, BUT, you can orient it temporarily so the adjustment is pointing down and the vent horizontal. It will not be a problem. I have done this many time and currently have it that way on my van as I too am testing different propane pressure settings to see what effect it has on the fridge operation. I have a fairly new, one year I think, Marshall Brass 290 and have now screwed in the adjustment screw two full turns and the fridge seems to be operating better. I will know more after this weekends adventures at BOTC.
