"Windage Tray". I had one in my TIICO ... it kept the oil pressure from dropping when it would slosh on steep climbs or cornering. I think they were intended for racing, especially offroad, where extreme cornering g-forces would move the oil away from the crank and up one side or the other of the pan/engine. Very easy to remove the oil pan and install the windage tray between it and the block ... it acts like a gasket when used that way. Bob
