You make sure all the connections are squeaky clean -->especially the
fuse (if possible use the Littelfuse ones that have glass bodies like
"regular" fuses)<-- and if possible you run larger wires.  The 12v
heater has the same wattage rating as the 110v, but voltage drop
between battery and fridge is a much larger problem.
