To what do you attribute this remarkable mileage (23.24 mpg U.S., compared to about 19 - 20 mpg U.S. for most vanagons on highway). Is your vehicle a camper? What engine, stock or a conversion? What transmission? I would dearly love to get that kind of mileage with my 1991 Volkswagen Vanagon GL Campmobile with 2.1 waterboxer, manual transmission, of course.
