They do come off occasionally over time. Sometimes the ball has split and then it's toast. I "MAY" have a good used one here. I'll have to go look but if you call later today I should have looked by then. They are a VW part only and the last time I needed one it came from VW they my be discontinued by now, best is to check. The bushings ate the same story, but I have none. The boots I have and came from various places. Also, examine the socket as they go funky also. Another VW part only, if they are still available.
