Hi all. Reading online, it seems I may have installed the foil backed hotwater tank bubble wrap behind my Dometic fridge incorrectly. I think there should be an air space between each layer. Not just between body and subsequent layers. And, the R value may not be as high as 1" Extruded Polystyrene insulation. I want to reduce the amount of heat coming in on the driver side of my Westy. Not so concerned about sound deadening. Dow (Canada) claims their product has excellent moisture resistance. http://building.dow.com/na/en/products/insulation/styrospan.htm Anyone used this type of product to insulate the wall/area behind/near the Dometic fridge? Or is there a better product that won't retain water, but provide high R value? Not interested in "glueing" anything to the sheet metal. One day I'll have to get back in there and completely POR the inside of body panel. Thanks, Neil.
