One of the only great memories that I have about driving my 82 Diesel Westy was in upper NY state when I actually (if I'm lying I'm dying) passed a red Ferrari. I guess this guy was driving a car that wasn't his own and was petrified that he might wreck it if his right foot pressed the accelerator more than 1/32 of an inch. He was going about 40 mph in a 55 mph stretch of road as I overtook him. Somewhere I have a picture that the wife took as we passed him. Always wanted to frame that with the speeding ticket that I could never get together and mount it in the van. It was a once in a lifetime diesel Westy moment. Now I drive the super powerful 90 hp 2.1 Westy (vs. the super slow 60 hp diesel Westy)!

Not frustrating for me with my 1.6NA DoKa. Rush hour traffic tends to be pretty slow; I never have a problem keeping up. If traffic is cooking along, I just pull into the right lane. I'm going fast enough to be legal on 'most any road in the US, and occasionally even get to pass one or two old codgers out near Sun City!

Yep. Relaxing.
