The Bosch fuel pumps we sell are German made, by Bosch.

But you are right, not all Bosch products are German made. Bosch has factories worldwide, and increasingly they are making many of their automotive parts outside of Germany. (This is the case with many German brands, most of which manufacture globally these days.) The parts are not ourtsourced - they are still made by Bosch, but not in Germany. Some of the Bosch ignition coils fall into that category. Much less commonly, Bosch will actually repackage an outsourced product not made by them at all. An example is Vanagon oil filters, which is why I recommend the OEM Mahle and Mann filters instead.
