Faulty part(s) in kit or installation error. Someone more familiar with
the kit details can suggest places to probe with your voltmeter to see
where the volts are being stopped.

When the engine is first started at an idle, the ALTERNATOR dash light
should be red. When you press on the accelerator pedal, the light should
go out. When that happens, power is applied to the battery relay you
installed and you should be able to hear, or feel, it click on.

Did you connect the aux battery's - (negative) terminal to chassis?
