I have 4" Cerwin Vega speakers in front. The handles almost clear, and you can crank the window up and down without removing the crank (something of an interference fit, I guess).

I recently installed the crank extensions from BD, and now have full clearance.

Noticeably better sound over the original 3.5" Blaupunkts. After a dozen years, the right speaker is starting to sound kinda shatter-y, so it's time to find a new pair (hope they haven't changed dimensions).
