Autocheck seems to have a better database, at least according to this Canadian consumer TV show...

They don't mention Autocheck by name, but they are the main competitor to Carfax and I've noticed similar results..thumbs up from Carfax but thumbs down from Autocheck on the same car...no wonder all the used car dealers say "free carfax report".
