MSRP on the vw oem lines = $485.35 or Frank Condelli's flexible lines =$250.00. Considering the ease of install on the flexible lines and almost 1/2 the price seems to be a no brainer. Not sure of others prices that have chimed in here. That's just the info I could access quickly. ? David Clarkson 90 Westy

And I'm sure you are right. My response was general, for the type of product normally used by a manufacturer or in the general design of a hydraulic system. Just out of curiosity, how does the cost of high performance hose systems compare to replacing corroded steel lines in the case of the Vanagon?
