Mark, I have done this many times over the years which led me to develop a kit to replace the metal lines with the rubber ones. I have installed these on many customer's vans and also have sold many more to customers around the world. They are a great solution to the problem of the metal pipes. My kit is $225 and is made in the USA with all American rubber, etc. if you care about that stuff. The kit comes with instructions and I can usually have it shipped out the same day you order it. It is in my webstore under the part number pshosekit

They are long hoses with no junction in the middle and the return hose goes from the rack all the way to the reservoir so you eliminate the junction in the engine bay on that one as well.
