Subject: Sliding Door Wanted-Found!
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8

Several weeks ago I put out the call for a sliding door for my '85 Wolfsburg Weekender, when I went to fix the damage to the existing door it became obvious that the door was mostly bondo, and wasn't worth the time/trouble to fix it . I got several offers but none were really close to my home and some a lot more than I can afford. Today I stumbled upon a Vanagon in a junk yard, and off it I got: 2 front stock speakers (window cranks are now back on), passenger side side view mirror, good chrome front bumper, BROWN door handles in good shape, AND a good straight sliding door, and its even Bronze Beige Metallic, so I don't even have to paint it. All this for $160.00 I really went searching for a decent pair of tan front seats with armrests, as my corduroy seats are shredded. Unfortunately the seats in this van were trashed too, but my budget today was $200.00, so now I have 40 bucks left over for some cheap seat covers 'til I find that decent set of front seats. Jeff
