Cesar -

I think in the vast majority of situations you would be accepted by both
groups. In my eyes Splittie, Bay, Vanagon - AC or WC - they are all buses. I
don't include the Eurovans (sorry) because they look so much like a modern
mini-van - however they are still a VW and I'd still honk and wave.

So I say honk and wave away - I'd bet most of the time you get the same in
return and for those who do not - well they just don't get it.
