No Dave, it really is there, but not that apparent.

Take the oil filler cap off.

Look at the top of the tube.

See that there is an inner diameter tube snugged down on the outer tube.

Use a knife, slim screwdriver, or the weapon of choice to pry the inner tube up and out.

Behold your newfound extension.
