Subject:      Problems with cigarette lighter?

Anyone else had problems with cigarette lighter blowing when you plug in a
computer with an inverter/adapter? I got a Mac adapter from Mike Gyver and
it worked great for about a week, then the lighter blew. I donıt know if the
lighter was just due, or if this is a known problem using computers in a
Vanagon. Mine is a 1987. When we get home I thought Iıd get it fixed, but if
thereıs a better solution than the standard one (on a 10 amp fuse) Iıd love
to know about it. Please p-mail me if you know one.
