Wish I was home/nearer this time. I'm in Denver with my kidz. I would NOT recommend taking the van to that shop. The reviews (mine in particular) indicate why. On more than one occasion, Utah Imports has be super at getting people back on the road reasonably quickly. Also Vee Dub Service in Ogden, the same. And in the middle of those two, Metric Motors in Centerville is a super shop for all things Vanagon. Don't know if I'm "Bob Jones" or if there is one here but I'm presuming you're referring to moi Miguel? Bob Stevens Salt Lake City ... in Denver at the moment ... see what happens when you retire ... you hit the road! ;-) Hoping this turns out well for your daughter Miguel.
