Well Scott, I generally agree. In fact, I totally agree. But I do want a reasonably good thermometer for the oil temperature. I don't KNOW that Dakota is any better than VDO. Most folks use VDO, including most Vanagon owners.
I don't like digital readouts either. Analog is intuitive. Thanks, DMc
