that hose nipple part. wouldn't call that a water manifold myself, it's not a manifold of any kind.

early ones are plastic and break. later ones are all metal. I have made one before by taking a 1.9 Wbxr outlet block off plate ( from the forward end of the left head on a 1.9 wbxr engine ) and drilling and taping that and putting in a threaded brass hose nipple from a hardware store - stronger than stock, works great.

you could also make that little plate by hand out of plate steel if you had to. If the bleed rail around the top of the engine compartment is plastic .. and to which this hose goes ....oddly, I have seen two of those plastic bleed rail things have holes in them ....and leak of course. There is a metal version too, they last a little better I think.
