The first number '205' is the width of the tread. So comparing it to '215' it is easy to see the 10mm difference. As posted on the List often (in the archives) the second number '65' represents height of the sidewall as a percentage of the width. True there can be difference between manufacturers given the same size. However, to make sense out of the details in the discussion, you have to assume the same manufacturer made both tires in the comparison. Otherwise, your inquiry should have specified manufacturers.
