I am shocked too about Andrew leaving us unwittingly and way too early and
worried about his family's troubles. I envision more than one lump sum to
NZ to them. The collection may take long and some funds could be sent over
earlier to heal some of their present financial pains.
He was one we all loved to read and were blessed to know him. I'm wondering
about all the projects he was still planning and those he had working on. I
don't remember him sending pictures about his place with those Vanagons,
Transporters, etc.
I had the feeling, he was a happy person with lots of energy within.
I am thankful for knowing him on the List. He may not send new postings,
but the ones he had we can still read in the archives. Thanks Andrew.
Zoltan

Joy & All,
Such sad news ....
Maggie and I would be very willing to collect donations from the VW
community for a lump sum transfer to the fund established in New Zealand.
We will contact the family and try to determine what help might be needed.
