Subject: Westlake Tires
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Hello All,

Note that I used a subject line related to the subject not "Hate to start a tire thread". That way, someone searching the archives with the same question I have, might have a change to save posting a repeat question". I did not find anything in the archives about Westlake tires. But it might be buried in a useless subject line.

This is a foreign brand but seems to have the specs for our Vanagons. Any experience with these out there?

So far I have found that there was a thread on Samba that was relatively OK with the tires but short on miles to give it credence.

I know there was a tire recall on this brand some years back, but not the H110 model I have been reading about.

H110 205 R14C 109/107Q 8PR. I wonder if this is a trailer tire? But not by what I have read.

My 195/14 Michelin LTX MS 97 C Rated are failing, all four, cracking on the sidewalls, only about 30K miles on them.
