My '91 Volkswagen Vanagon GL Campmobile has Kumho 857 (195R14 C) tires.  About 12K miles now, on all kinds of roads including rough back country, highway, and some winter conditions last year.  The tires are proving to be really good (to my judgment, anyway).  Certainly none of the instability that many complain of with the vehicle, including in high winds.


If you check the archives, you will find considerable discussion of them a year or so ago.
