well, i work at a shop and don't make the call on bills, I will say
what i think..

if the shop charged $95 an hour to handle finding parts for Vanagons
it could be the same as the % they charge... lol...

but at my shop we have a parts guy and a a guy who handles the books,
they both get paid a fair salary i would imagine that cost's money.
the other issue is many shops have no clue about the samba, gowesty,
frank condelli, van again etc.. my shop is only finding out about most
of these places because i am so immersed in the vanagon world....
parts guys often only want to deal with who they already know... and
being in canada is getting harder for parts...
